In September of 2014, Gensler and the Cleveland Airport System began a complete redesign of the signage and wayfinding strategy for Cleveland Hopkins International and Burke Lakefront Airports. The project was driven by the Republican National Convention (Pre-RNC) which occured in Cleveland on July 18 to 21, 2016. It is a part of a series of projects which are being “fast-tracked” by the city for the Convention.I love airport projects.

I love airport projects. In my opinion, they are the perfect combination of design and analytical thinking. I also fell in love with Cleveland on this project, which always helps.
